  • We will walk you through step by step the process to get the perfect size belt every time. The most important thing to remember is your external waist size for a belt is not your normal waist measurement for your trousers or jeans, it will always be slightly bigger due to being over your clothing.

How to measure your waist size

Lay your existing belt on a flat surface and measure from the bend of the belt to the hole you use when wearing your belt.

This figure is your external waist measurement.

How to measure without an existing belt

While wearing the clothes you wish to add your belt too use a clothing measuring tape and thread it through the belt loops, stand in a relaxed posture and note the measurement. Round this measurement up to the nearest inch and this figure is your external waste measurement.

Estimating your external waist measurement (NOT ADVISED)

All though we do not advise to do this as it is not accurate and your belt might not fit as desired, If you wish to estiamate your size we have found adding approx. 3 inches to your standard trouser/jeans measurement works for MOST but not all! But it is always still best to check where possible.

How to select the correct size

Select the size that drops within the sizing options.

For example if you measure 39 inches using the above guidance you would need to select 35 - 41 inches as it is the most central and will leave holes either side.
